This wonderful song for Princess Diana is performed by a group called "StarJam"
StarJam is a charitable trust based in Auckland , New Zealand , creates opportunities for young people with disabilities to experience joy in their hearts and the belief that anything is possible.
"Queen of Hearts" was written by two of "StarJam's" young performers called Jonathan Heaps and Renée Maurice,
and celebrates the life of Princess Diana and her impact on the world.
Nine fellow StarJam participants join Jonathan and Renée to sing the chorus.
Queen of Hearts was recorded in January 2007 at the Auckland studio of Neil Finn (lead singer of Crowded House) and released by EMI Music NZ in May 2007. StarJam sent the song to Princes William and Harry for their consideration as a StarJam performance at the Concert for Diana. While this did not eventuate, it has been a wonderful experience for the young people involved and a great opportunity to showcase their musical talents.
